I'm curious what you make of lists like this one (http://dneiwert.blogspot.com/2007/03/eliminationism-in-america-appendix.html). If a similar collection of "death to conservatives" invective exists, I haven't found it yet.
Maoist writing and speeches had a lot of eliminationist rhetoric, so I would imagine if you dug up old New Left stuff you would find it there; but of course the New Left is now not just old but, well, dead.
If you're familiar with Joshua Micah Marshall's bitch-slap theory, he contends that the point of that rhetoric is to make liberals whine, "That's not nice! You're not playing fair!" and thus make people despise liberals even more than they already do. Republicans know that no one who isn't a political junkie will remember what they say to begin the sequence, but ordinary people will remember that liberals don't defend themselves or just go crying for mommy - they will make sure of that.
